Mushroom Cabernet Rigatoni

Pardon us as we drool over this amazing rigatoni pasta skillet with Just Like Home Mushroom Cabernet pasta sauce topped with roasted mushrooms and chickpeas!

ingredients

– 1 lb spicy Italian sausage
– 1 jar Just Like Home Kitchen Recipes Mushroom Cabernet pasta sauce
– 2 cups mushrooms
– 1 can chickpeas (drained, rinsed, and dried)
– 16 oz rigatoni pasta, prepared
– 1 tablespoon olive oil
– 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning (add a pinch of salt if yours doesn’t have any!)
– 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

instructions

– Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
– On a sheet pan add the chickpeas and mushrooms.
– Drizzle with olive oil and Italian seasoning
– Place in the oven for 10-12 minutes until crispy.
– While that bakes, brown the sausage and add 1 cup of Just Like Home Mushroom Cabernet pasta sauce and stir well.
– Add the pasta to the skillet and add the rest of the sauce. Stir to combine.
– Top the skillet with parmesan cheese and crispy chickpeas and mushrooms.
– Place under the broiler in the oven for 5 minutes. Remove and top with parsley.
