Gnocchi with Chicago Style Bolognese

Need a quick and easy dinner that elevates your pasta night? Look no further and try this tasty Gnocchi and Chicago-Style Bolognese dish! For a punch of flavor, you can simply sprinkle some basil or add in your favorite superfoods, like Kale! Try this easy weeknight meal tonight!

ingredients

– 1 jar Just Like Home Kitchen Recipes Chicago-Style Bolognese pasta sauce
– 16-ounces gnocchi
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
– 1 cup shaved parmesan cheese
– Dash fresh basil (optional)
– 2 tablespoon olive oil (optional)
– 1 clove garlic, minced (optional)
– (For added flavor sauté 8-ounces fresh kale.)

Standard Recipe:

1. Boil gnocchi according to package instructions.
2. In a medium-sized skillet, saute garlic in the olive oil and combine gnocchi for added flavor.
3. Salt lightly and evenly.
4. Warm the Chicago-Style Bolognese pasta sauce over medium heat for 1-2 minutes.
5. Top with a dash of fresh basil.

Serves 4.

Recipe with Kale:

1. Boil gnocchi according to package instructions.
2. In a medium-sized skillet, sauté garlic in the olive oil.
3. When fragrant, quickly add the kale.
4. Using tongs, stir occasionally to coat the kale with the oil.
5. Remove from heat just when wilted.
6. Combine gnocchi and kale.
7. Spoon pasta and kale onto a pool of warmed sauce and top with cheese.

Serves 4.
