Need a quick and easy dinner that the kids would love? Nikki Booch created a super easy and convenient pizza quesadilla that will be a new twist on some weeknight favorites!
ingredients
• 2 10-inch flour tortillas (or tortillas of choice)
• 1 c shredded mozzarella cheese
• 1/4 c Just Like Home Kitchen Recipes N.Y. Lip-Smackin’ Garlic pasta sauce (+ more for dipping)
• Italian seasoning
• Fresh basil & spinach (optional)
• Avocado oil
instructions
HEAT & SPRAY a large pan with avocado oil. PREPARE quesadilla by spreading sauce on each tortilla. SPRINKLE mozzarella cheese & Italian seasoning on one sauced tortilla. ADD the fresh basil & spinach, sprinkle a bit more cheese, then place the other sauced tortilla on top. PLACE the quesadilla over medium high heat & COOK for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden & crispy. CUT into 8 pieces & serve with additional (warm) N.Y. Lip-Smackin’ Garlic pasta sauce.
